Welcome to Heartland! At Heartland we are seeking the heart of Jesus. We live this out in our core values, worship, healing, and discipleship. We gather to worship our Lord, we believe in His healing, and we desire to make disciples. When you visit, we believe you find more than just friendly faces, great coffee, and a creative space. We believe you’ll encounter the Holy Spirit. We hope you will join us on a Sunday morning soon!

  • There are many ways that worship is expressed at Heartland. Through singing, flagging, dancing, painting, raising of hands, kneeling, etc., we give thanks and praise to our Creator.

  • At Heartland we desire to reach and serve our neighbors in the Northside neighborhood as well as our Fort Wayne community. Every year we run Lightfest, Messy Church, and our youth group participates in a city service week. We also serve our community with a weekly mom group, Sunday night food pantry, hosting the pavilion for food truck rallies at Lakeside Park, and created a disc golf course at Northside Park. We believe that every Christian has the opportunity to reach out to those in the circles of influence and invite Jesus in.

  • We have many community groups and programs that run weekly and biweekly. If you are interested in serving, reach out to one of the members of the leadership team or email us.

  • We have a wonderful nursery available for children from birth to 3 years old throughout the entire service. Children’s ministry for children 3 years old through 5th grade meets every Sunday after communion and announcements.

  • We believe in the power of prayer and believe it is a crucial part of our walk. On Sunday mornings, we have prayer teams available to pray with you. During service, you may see people gather to pray over each other. Heartland also partners with Prayerworks, where we host and pray for our city quarterly.

    We believe that there is no junior Holy Spirit! Because of that, we teach our kids that no matter what age they are, they can encounter God in a real way and have their own relationship with Jesus. We want to empower our kids to pray with authority, fearlessly worship, and know the Word of God for themselves! To cultivate this, we focus on four keys: worship, service, Bible study, and journaling.

  • Youth

    We empower the next generation as they connect with Christ. The Heartland youth are taught and encouraged as they pray with others, serve the community, share the Good News, and enjoy fellowship with their peers. We accomplish this through Sunday morning classes, listening to sermons, evening youth group, and citywide worship events. We value mentoring relationships that encourage growth, development of skills and character, and increased leadership opportunities.

    We are a community of men that value discipleship and authentic connections. When we gather, we give you opportunities to connect with other men and put your faith into practice. From Saturday morning breakfasts to summer camping retreats, you will find men coming together to lift each other up and love one another.

    We are a vibrant community of women from all generations and journeys. Fellowship is a major aspect of our gatherings; whether it is our winter tea or an ice cream social. We hope that new friendships arise and community is strengthened. Our core Bible verse is Hebrews 10:24: “Stir up one another to love and good works…” Our desire is to do just that as we gather.
