Our mission is to partner with families to help kids know and love God deeply, grow in biblical truth and understanding, and build a faith that lasts.
Through engaging teaching, journaling, joyful worship, and opportunities to serve others, we create a space where every child belongs and gets to play.
We believe church should be fun, faith should be real, and every child is invited to take part in what God is doing.
Age Groups
Nursery
Newborn to 3 Years Old
Every time your child comes back to nursery, they will learn about Jesus at an age-appropriate level with hands on learning through play, coloring, and short lessons.
Spark Kids
3 years old-5th grade
Every Sunday, SPARK Kids will spend time in worship and participate in communion. When kids are dismissed to classes they will go back to a safe, engaging, and fun environment. Our mission is to partner with parents and guardians to raise disciples with a focus on service, worship, Bible study, and connecting with God through journaling.
Spark Club
kindergarten-5th grade
Spark Club meets every Wednesday night from 6-8pm. Students can expect a time of games, crafts, a short lesson, and all around fun. Door 3 opens at 5:55pm and pick up is from 7:50 to 8:00pm.
Home. City. World.
One of the core values at Heartland is Home. City. World., a value we live out across every ministry, including Kids Ministry. We believe following Jesus isn't something kids are preparing to do someday, it's something they can live out today.
At home, we partner with parents to equip and disciple children to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. We encourage kids and give them opportunities to pray for their families, friends, and people both older and younger than themselves.
In our city, we teach kids to love and serve their neighbors through hands-on opportunities. We've visited nursing homes, built and stocked an outdoor food cabinet and Little Free Library, and participated in many other community service projects.
In the world, we're helping kids develop a heart for the nations by writing to pen pals in Wales and Sri Lanka and regularly praying for our missionaries.
