Hey everyone! If you didn't quite catch that Gen Z speak, here's the short version: things are awesome at HYC! 

I’m Shannon, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Youth Pastor at Heartland since June 2025. I’ve been in youth ministry since 2021, and my passion is helping middle and high school students across Fort Wayne discover what it means to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do what He did. I love equipping students to own their faith and make a real impact in their schools and community.

When I’m not hanging out with our youth group, I love getting outside to hike, fish, or play sports. My wife, Erika, and I love spending time with friends, going to the movies, and gathering around playing board games.
