My job at Heartland Church, and my passion, is working with worshippers and artists and using the gifts and talents God has given us to glorify the name of Jesus.

Although I grew up singing in churches with my family, my primary worship expression was dance.  I even led the Heartland dance team for a while. But after 10 years of ballet and worship dance training, God shifted my heart and my passion for worship into music.

I started singing on the worship team about 12 years ago and I began leading the worship team 10 years ago.

Now, I love helping our church explore the variety of creative expressions that our Creator has put inside us. And I love all of the painting, creative writing, flagging, and musical worship expressions we get to use at Heartland!

I believe that worship is a heart posture of love and honor for the Lord and it can be expressed in so many beautiful and creative ways.

One of my goals is to be a lifelong learner. So even though I already play acoustic guitar, piano, bass guitar, and ukulele, I’m also learning to play cello and ocarina. Who knows what instrument I’ll pick up next?
