Rapha: The God Who Heals

May 9, 2025 | Writer's Blog | 0 comments

It’s Your very nature to heal,
You cannot stop Yourself.
It’s part of who You are:
You are a Healer.

You placed immunity in our bodies
At the Fall of Man.
You provided a defense for us
When infirmity would strike.

You made white blood cells
To war on our behalf
Against infection
When all is aflame.

You made our cells to regenerate
Again and again
So that we could be made new
Without giving it a thought.

You are our Healer,
Rapha is Your name.
Healing runs in Your blood,
Now it flows in our veins.

Sometimes rapid and instant,
Other times progressive.
Healing is ours as Your children.
It’s our daily bread.

When I am laid low
In pain and anxiety,
I feast at Your table
You’re my daily bread.
