Investigating the Intrigue

Jul 23, 2026 | Writer's Blog | 0 comments

An invitation given,
Words spoken.
Thoughts, like seeds being planted,
A stirring awakens.
Something intrigues me.

What is this calling?
Knocking at my door,
tugging at my soul?

Curiosity arises and resistance follows.
Pulling and pushing like a tug of war
One foot raised to take a step
While the other seems mired in clay,
Hindered by the whispers of a multitude of unanswered questions.

And still, the intrigue remains.
Calling.
Knocking at my door,
Tugging at my soul.
Beckoning.

Will you come?
Will you explore?
Will you grow?

Behold, I am doing a new thing.
Will you not be aware of it?
Answer the call.
I will make a pathway through the wilderness
And create rivers in the dry wastelands.

Renewing
Restoring
Re-invigorating
Releasing
Rewarding the Investigation of the Intrigue.
