If only she knew
How strong she’d become
If only she knew
She’s beautiful inside and out
If only she knew then
What she knows now
If only she knew
The light at the end of the tunnel is her
But what she knows now
She would never undo
What made her
The person she is now
If only you’ll see
The same as me
Sooner rather than later
Do you see your light now too?

~ Cathy Schrock, mixed media artist
This mixed media art has many layers, one on top of the other, so when the surface is scratched, the under-layers come through and show “where they came from.” Like our lives, each layer (or experience) adds depth and texture to the “final product,” (in quotes since we are never really finished in this life until Father calls us home.) ~ Cathy
