Did you know there is a proper way to stand?
My physical therapist taught me “how to stand” at my last appointment. I laughed to think I needed to be taught how to stand at my age!
One foot slightly ahead of the other, equal balance between my two legs, knees unlocked and loose, and ribcage and shoulders down. In this position, it is more difficult to be knocked over or off balance.
There is a spiritual way to stand as well that will keep you from being pushed over. When life throws you into confusion or pain, go back and stand on what you know to be true. From there you will have an accurate perspective and stand straight and tall.
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13
