What was wrong? I had a disease in my corneas that was incurable and would cause me to go blind.
What did God do? God told me to pray and ask Him to heal me, and promised that when I did that He would heal me. I prayed, and over the course of 3 years He healed my eyes.
What changed in you or in your life as a result? My faith was fertilized and grew into an unshakeable foundation for the whole of my life. I learned how to ask God what He wants to do, then join Him in that work. I learned to trust God implicitly. I learned to listen to the voice of the Spirit without questioning.
