What was something the Lord asked you to do that caused you to be afraid? Come out of the darkness of fear and my own ability to “protect” myself. He called me to lay down my armor.
Why did it make you afraid? It left me vulnerable and revealed that I have been relying on my own self sufficiency.
What happened when you showed courage and did what He asked you to do? He gave me a picture of Him carrying me, surrounded by light and peace. He renewed my trust in Him – that He is my covering and my strength.
