Enkindled

Standing as sarsen stone witnessing the alignment
of a new day, significantly different from most others,
for physical attributes were speaking spiritual truth.
Light began filtering across the Earth illuminating objects
in red glow simultaneously sending shadows
fleeing in synchronicity with the awakening.

The beauty of reflecting light beckoned observation,
but I procured the directional realization and
turned from where the shadow pointed.
I began to walk in haste, and I quickly learned to run away
from the battlefield of darkness and toward
the True Light Source.

With each step the path grew brighter, and I observed
shadows shrinking into obscurity until there were
no obstacles capable of eclipsing The Light…
I peered over my shoulder once more, beginning to understand
that with every decision, something is sacrificed.
I ascertained a refreshed and renewed purpose as
I stepped through the veil and my focus shifted.

No longer is my path a trail of fears;
it is a journey of joy.
No contrast, only awe…
since I surrendered my
state of perplexity
for the life of amazement.

It is definitely encouraging to me. I love seeing his joy through you. I am going to have to work on my hug collection when I get healed enough for it.
