What was wrong? I was totally burned out. We were on vacation and I said “Lord, please don’t make me care about anybody. I don’t have anything left.” But God stirred my compassion for the deaf cook at the place we were staying. So I finally gave in and prayed that his ears would be opened.
What did God do? God gave him partial hearing!
What changed in you or in your life as a result? It was so clear that his healing was not based on how spiritual I felt, or my strength. I was totally empty. It was – and always will be – about who God is and what He does!
