What was something the Lord asked you to do that caused you to be afraid? It was more wonderment than fear. He had told me that a young woman I had seen in the locker room at the Huntington YMCA had menstrual problems. One day He asked me to go give her a message at her work But He did not tell me that He just said go to the 1st National Bank and be my messenger. Some of this I see more clearly in hindsight. The wonderment was He would send me there and I would have to perceive who He wanted me to speak to and then trust Him and obey.
What happened when you showed courage and did what He asked you to do? The young lady was a teller at the bank. I stood in her line. When it was my turn I quietly told her “The Lord loves you. You have severe menstrual problems. The Lord is healing them.” And I left quietly.
