A Season of Thankfulness
2022 Year End Update From Pastor Dave
Dear Heartland Family,
This season of the year is a time of thankfulness and reflection for many. Every day as I pray, I find myself thanking God for all the blessings He continuously pours out on my life. Even in the midst of struggle and hardship, we can see the faithfulness of God in our lives.
As we prepare to end 2022, I am giving thanks to God for all the ways He has used Heartland to bless our neighborhood, our region, and the nations this past year. We focus heavily on training and equipping people for ministry in both formal and informal ways. I am amazed by the ways God is using so many of you to minister to your neighbors, our city, our country, and even other nations.
Though we can’t give updates on everything that happens in and through Heartland, we wanted to share some of the highlights in our ministries from this past year. Click here download our 2022 Ministry Report.
We are experiencing financial challenges right now. A combination of major furnace repairs, increased costs, and lower than anticipated offerings have made our finances very tight. I’d like to ask you to consider giving a year-end gift to help us through this season. You can give on Sunday mornings, through the Heartland App or on our website.
Thank you for your continued investment of time, money, and prayer. We need each other and we need to sacrificially work together to do the work He has called us to do. I want to encourage all of us to give generously, serve faithfully, and pray continually as we end this year and move forward in our mission and calling together. Let’s give thanks together for all God has done in 2022!
Peace,
Pastor Dave
