Dear co-laborers in Christ,

I trust that the God of all grace is blessing you abundantly. I love your willingness to partner together with the saints of God to do His Kingdom work. All to often in the church today Christians reflect the narcissistic plague of our society. It’s not that we don’t want to keep people happy, but the church is called to mission, to do God’s will together. I love your willingness to step up in partnership with your time, energy, money, and prayer. We are doing together what we can’t do alone. We are not perfect yet, (LOL) but we are progressing and the bottom line is we want to know and do God’s will for our lives personally and corporately. Obedience is better than sacrifice. We are glad later, when we make good choices now. You are an amazing group of Disciples.

With the arrival of winter, there has been an increase in the requests for help from our mercy, benevolence, and helps ministries. We are running short in food resources for our Pantry. Larry Snider tells me he can always use the large cans of hearty chunky soup. So when you are shopping how about picking up some extra and make a contribution to our food pantry.

We have increases in maintenance and utility costs. It is good to share our building with CrossPoint, New Life, and Gospel Community Churches. We appreciate their financial help in covering our facility costs. But like our own home costs these days, money is really tight. We work hard to be good stewards of our mutual financial partnership and there are few attendees who do not give something to partner in this way. Thank you for your tithes and offerings.

We are rejoicing in God’s continuing favor upon our gatherings and ministries. What an amazing series of Sunday morning gatherings we have been experiencing. The Body is ministering to the Body by the power and gifting of the Holy Spirit. Again, we are doing together what we cannot do alone.

Our small groups are thriving. The Truth Project is proving to be a very valuable learning experience. Our Wednesday evening School of the Holy Spirit is well attended in the five classes we are offering. I feel like my study on Old Testament characters is going extremely well. I think the class we had last Wednesday is the single best group sharing we have had for a long time. Find a group and grow. Or make one. We will help. Do it before a crisis comes and you will be amazed at the support and help that will be yours from your fellow believers.

We are launching our campus outreach at IPFW this month. Kristen Strom from KU, Called to Greatness, is here as a catalytic missionary to help jump start our campus

viagra price

ministry. It is exciting to think of the many lives and cultures that we can redemptively touch on our university campuses.

Our involvement in the city church is highlighted this Saturday as the March for Life on the 40^th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. 55 million babies have been murdered. May God have mercy on America, forgive us, cheap viagra and send revival to our land. I will be marching with other clergy from the area declaring our conviction that all human life is precious from conception.

I continue to work with 11 different networks and denominations to cultivate evangelism, discipleship and church planting. When the enemy comes in like a flood God will raise up a standard of up righteousness and Kingdom life and work. These are days of great challenge and great opportunity. Let’s do Kingdom business till He comes. Maranatha. Come soon Lord Jesus.

May the Blessings of God rest upon you all,
Ron Allen for the Heartland ministry support team

About the Show

A musical about the life of Christ – without Him ever being on stage? How can this be? The answer to this question is found in The Twelve, a new musical opera composed by musician Dave Frincke and lyricist Joseph P. Gudel. One of the unique aspects of The Twelve is that, as the title indicates, the entire gospel story is told from the perspective of the apostles – Jesus is never onstage. It combines the mystery and tension of Jesus

Christ Superstar with the winsomeness and realism buy cialis discount of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – and in doing so remains biblically accurate throughout.

About the Authors

Dr. Joseph P. Gudel is a Lutheran pastor and the Director of Campus Ministries at Concordia Lutheran High School. Dave Frincke is on the pastoral staff at Heartland Church and has spoken at and led worship conferences and retreats around the nation. The reprise performance of The Twelve will be performed by an all adult cast of performers from all around the Fort Wayne area.

“The Twelve is a distinctive musical opera that is both fresh and faithful to the Biblical portrait of the apostles.” Dr. Dean Wenthe (President Emeritus, Concordia Theological Seminary)

“This amazing musical reveals the disciples as three-dimensional, vulnerable, genuine human beings. They come alive as they agonize over their mission in life, their obedience to the Master, their love for their families, and their worries about their safety. The rich variety of music provides narrative momentum, giving new vitality to a story that is thousands of years old.” Dr. Dennis E. Hensley (Director of the Professional Writing Program, Taylor University)

“I was amazed when I was able to sit and listen to what Joe and Dave have written. It will be a joyous occasion when I get to experience it as a produces and staged event.” Bill Brooks (Professional Christian Actor/Singer and six-time winner of “Entertainer of the Year” in Texas)

Jesus,

As we start the final 7 days of fasting and prayer leading up to our celebration of Pentecost, we witness to God’s faithfulness to speak to those who will listen. Fasting means we are setting aside things to more cl

cialis buy online

early hear from God. Our prayer is for the grace to be in agreement with God. Check out the reports from these days on our website. Provocative and promising are these tokens of entering into what God is doing next in and through us.

As we gather from our homes and work, from our home groups and Bible studies we come to not only to worship and praise the Lord but rehearse and edify the church with testimonies and reports of what God is doing in our midst. God is forming us to be a church for the sake of others. Beyond just our own edification and comfort, we are being blessed to be a blessing. The Great Commission is still our marching orders. We are committed to go and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Of course we first must be engaged in that assignment before we can help others to enter in to Kingdom life and work. The challenge is to clean up, grow up, and tool up so we must be learners if we are to be disciples.

Heartland Church values learning, growing and being fruitful in the Spirit. We believe that to say yes to God is to say yes to the ongoing teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit leads us to Jesus and teaches us the things of God (John 14:26). As we listen and obey we are transformed in character and conduct to be like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18). As we obey, we mature and demonstrate the fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Growing this way not only as individuals but as a family at Heartland requires continual instruction and application. We value small groups and classes as one way to reach this value of maturing disciples.

To learn is to grow. To learn is to change. As we commit to see life from the perspective of the Bible and the Bible from the perspective of life we are challenged to repent and change old ways of thinking and embrace the truth of God’s Word. We highly value the Word of God and in our life together we find ways to get into the Word until the Word gets into us. We don’t want to just study Scripture for information, but for revelation and transformation. As we receive revelation and embrace change, we become more like Jesus.

As we study and apply the Word of God we endeavor to be raised up to the standard of Scripture in our experience, not lower Scripture to our limited experiences. We don’t want our lives as Christ’s disciples to be defined by culture or political correctness, but with God’s help we desire to allow the Bible to define all of life including our culture.

We value the message of the Kingdom of God and are progressing in living out our lives as a member of the Kingdom of God. The message of the Kingdom is good news and a radical invitation to change not only our own lives, but the lives over which each of us have influence. Living in the ThroneZone (where God rules and reigns) enables us to share what we receive from the Holy Spirit with others. We realize we are just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.

If you would like to be in a group or would like to start a group we will help you. Ron teaches a class frequently on how to lead a group with an inductive approach to Bible study and sharing that is easily learned and highly effective. We invite you to come grow up in Christ, be a maturing disciple, with the Heartland family.

Thank you for your partnership. God has created the church because He intends for us to do together what we cannot do alone. We are having an impact as we work together.

Blessings,

Ron Allen for the ministry support team

Dear Heartland Family,

This beautiful Monday morning I am rejoicing in the great gatherings we enjoyed together this past Easter weekend. What an amazing time of worship and celebration we experienced as Dave and Lem led us into God’s presence yesterday morning. Roger Ames brought an inspiring and Spirit-filled message to us. It is good to hear from a spiritual father. As most of you know this was a special combined service for Heartland Church and All Saints Anglican Mission especially focusing on baptisms from both fellowships. And not only did the newly baptized receive anointing and prayer but the Holy Spirit obviously rested on many as the healing team anointed and prayed for many people. Thanks be to God for His faithfulness.

Our ability to appreciate the diversity of Christ’s Body is getting ready to go to another level as we welcome Gospel Community Church into our building for their regular meetings this week. GC is rooted in the Calvary Chapel movement and of course Heartland is rooted in the Vineyard movement and I think God is getting a good chuckle out of this turn of events. I am praying that in a godly way GC’s emphasis on teaching and our

buy sildenafil

emphasis on the ministry of the Holy Spirit will positively impact both fellowships.

We continue to realize that the gathered church, from small groups to large, is God’s idea. We cannot fulfill Kingdom ministry by ourselves. We need each other. And together we always can do more of God’s work in bringing the world and society under His Kingdom rule than we can alone.

Even though the mild weather has greatly reduced our utility costs we still are operating on very slim resources. We are committed to operating within our resources. We tithe our general church income to mercy, benevolence, outreach and missions. We endeavor to be good stewards believing that investing in pastoral care, evangelism and discipleship is God’s will for our corporate life. We are committed to going and making disciples whether in the marketplace, in our neighborhood, on our campuses, or across the earth.

I am writing to ask you to prayerfully consider increasing your financial support to Heartland Church. Will you consider investing in our life together in a greater way? We do appreciate your prayers, partnership and tithes and offerings and know God will bless you with a Kingdom return on your giving. May God teach us to prosper so that we may be able to

viagra for sale

say yes to every opportunity to do good in Jesus’ name.

Yours for the Kingdom,
Ron Allen, lead pastor

Dear partners in ministry,

I love Mondays. For me it’s basking in the afterglow of our weekend meetings. From All Saints vespers on Saturday evening, to our celebration on Sunday morning, and Wellspring on Sunday evening, the reports of what God is doing in our lives and how we rejoice together in seeing God’s Kingdom advance.

We continue to do together what we cannot do alone. Byron Funnell is our point guy with the Miami Tribal Council. We are slowly but surely making progress in planting a Native American Christian church that celebrates the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in a way that honors Native American culture. Consider attending the conference at Ashland University with Terry and Darlene Wildman, CREATED IN GOD’S IMAGE, WALKING HOLY GROUND,
Seeing Christ through Native American Eyes,
April 16-18, 2012. This gathering builds on the meetings that we have had at Heartland in the past.

Dan and Fern Utz with Clearwater Ministries continue their work in jails and prisons. After a long time they are finally able to have meetings in the facility at Madison. Go on a trip with them, it will change your life and the lives of prisoners.

Our food pantry under Larry Snider’s supervision continues to touch hundreds of lives a month. We give approximately 15,000 meals a month to the needy. And each recipient gets prayer and personal ministry. Thanks to all who faithfully share in that ministry.

We continue to build a strong ministry team trained in the skills of Restoring the Foundations. Carolyn and her team are very busy caring for souls who need a breakthrough from God. Larry Larson continues to expand his counseling ministry to those who need something more. And of course, every week the Body ministers to the Body. The skills that Jon has taught us from the Vineyard healing model equip every believer to pray for others with sensitivity and anointing.

I love our worship teams. The value and practice of tag-teaming is fundamental to our approach to worship and praise. New songs continue to emerge. Dave is wrapping up his latest project and soon we will be doing a new song sampler for our Heartland worship series. Our worship team will be doing a concert in Akron on April 28.

We host New Life Anglican mission on Sunday mornings at 11 am. Father Rick Leone also pastors Glorious King in Huntington. Our Saturday night service with All Saints Mission meets at 5pm for Vespers and at 6pm for soup and salad. At 7pm Father Nate teaches the Bible in depth for an hour. As John Wimber taught me we want to

acquistare viagra italia

love as much of the church as God loves. We really don’t yet, but we want to. That is one reason why we are hosting Gospel Community Church on Sunday nights in our building at 5pm. This community of 300 lost

real viagra

their building, and we will be sharing our facilities with them.

God is up to something more. I can feel the same anticipation I have felt before when a wave of the Holy Spirit was immanent. Given the positive response to my message Sunday, I know many of you are feeling the same way. We are not going to miss this next move of God. In fact we are already experiencing the first fruits. I am excited about the new energy for evangelism and discipleship. May God keep healing us up, cleaning us up, growing us up and sending us out. Let’s keep doing together what we cannot do alone. Thank you for your faithful partnership. We overestimate what we can do in a year, and we underestimate what we can do in three years.

Blessings,

Ron Allen, lead pastor
