Ron and Carolyn Allen planted Heartland Church in February 1985. For many years they served on the International Board of Vineyard Churches. They have traveled and taught extensively on church life and work all over the US and the world. Their primary focus with Vineyard was to help plant and oversee many churches, primarily in the mid-west. Ron is very involved in the city church of Fort Wayne. The Allens have two married children, and five grandchildren. Ron is the Lead Pastor of Heartland Church, and desires to see every believer equipped for the work of ministry.

Jon is married to Terry and they have three children: Jon Adam (married to Debbie), Carrie and Becky. They have been part of Heartland since the beginning in 1985. Jon was employed by Navistar for 32 years, retiring in 1999 to work as full time staff at Heartland. He was the chaplain for the Navistar Engineering facility and also the Employee Assistance Representative. He has served in various ways and currently has responsibilities for pastoral care as well as the Heartland facility and grounds.

Carolyn has been involved in pastoral ministry with her husband, Ron, since their marriage in 1967. Her passion is to worship God, teach His Word and see people healed from hurts in their past that hinder them from fully embracing God’s love and destiny for their lives. This passion has often led to coaching the body in the areas of worship, teaching, prophetic ministry, women’s ministry and pastoral healing prayer.

Dave has been leading worship for the past 10 years. He has written and produced 3 albums, his latest being a whole CD of hymn arrangements called Priceless Treasure. His latest work, a 2 hour rock opera titled “The Twelve“, made its debut in Fort Wayne, IN in August, 2010. His passion is to communicate love for Jesus and prophetic declaration through music & to help position the Church to experience the touch of God. Dave is married to Bethany and they have one daughter, Lily.
